i really like the simplicity of these desgins using the building style and objects that symbolise these differences in class. but the work has been done in such a way wich is so attractive and the simplicty helps portrait the content successfully with out over complicating the design.

i can see the ideas that Alec where talking about (getting ideas and creating them) within these projects as they are really simple but very effective giving him a range of desgins that flow through single editions - multiple collections of prints.

Class
Concept behind these prints is 1-9 each poster being created to represent something that relates to that number.
simple concepts and nicely produced imagery create a nice series of prints.
i like the idea that work that works as a set and thus am proposing a brief that focuses on this idea.
i find that the idea of producing work for edtions creates a higher value to the work and hopefully as i succed i can produce work that can be sold and eventually grow a some what fan base that collect my work.
similar to Joyce Alec has a very simple but attractive colour pallette that helps his designs stand out.
in refernce to his style of work it is very illustrative with a strong focus on image. this is an area i want to improve and i think starting simple will help my work progress.
