The talk that Alec gave us was very influencial to me and he has kind of influecnced me to persue work that has an aesthetic value and that can be sold.
After having a one on one with Alec i was very intersted in his idea of creating work quickly and in large quantities -(even if some pieces arn't too successful)
i feel this method would very much help me speed up my production of work and hoefully not get bogged down with taking too long over briefs.
some key things that Alec spoke to me about where paper stocks and that they can help add another colour to the work and help the work stand out. also the paper stock can help create a better quality to the print.
i feel that screen printing is a really nice organic method to design through so i would like to use this within my work as i feel it would boost the limited edition concept of some of my work - as each print has a slight difference to the next.
Alec also has suggested a few desginers i should check out such as Oscar wilson - Para. so i'm gonna get on that and look at these guy's work.
