This book is the exhibition book for an exhibition on wallpapers in manchester which i visited in march. the exhibition was interesting there where a few helpful artists and designers that i could look at and who feature in this book so the following post will be in reference to this exhibition.
as my design context is on applied illustration and graphics i felt that wallpaper - which is a very aesthetically driven media - would be something i needed to research and gain some knowledge about the work that is being produced. i think a lot of the designs have a very good colour use and especially within this exhibition some clever designs of wallpapers rather than the standard aesthetically driven designs.
